Waterloo’s grilles and diffusers specified for luxury residential development
Air distribution products designed and manufactured by Waterloo Air Products plc are being supplied for the latest high end residential development by St Edward in London’s 375 Kensington High Street.
St Edward is part of the Berkeley Group and 375 Kensington High Street development is part of an on-going development of luxury homes. Each home in the latest phase, Benson House, benefits from a highly luxurious specification and incorporates the latest in heating and cooling technologies: comfort cooling and heating to all reception rooms and bedrooms, underfloor heating to cloakrooms, bathrooms and shower rooms.
Waterloo was specified to supply a comprehensive range of air distribution products to maximise airflows and enhance energy efficiencies throughout this latest phase, which comprises luxury apartments, duplex apartments and penthouses at one of the capital’s most sought after addresses. Completion is scheduled for Spring / Summer 2016.
Waterloo has successfully built up a track record in providing high specification air distribution solutions for the high-end residential sector.
“Every building is unique but we understand airflows, thermal comfort is related to the success or failure of a building’s HVAC system and the correct selection of air distribution products,” explains Rick Edmondson, Chairman of Waterloo.
“Designing an efficient and effective distribution system ensures that the internal space is comfortably ventilated and each area benefits from the correct levels of cooling and heating.”
Waterloo supplied an extensive range of Airline Linear Grilles, Linear Slot Diffusers, Vane Swirl Diffusers and Plain Faced Circular Diffusers throughout the development.
Airline Linear Grilles are designed to satisfy air diffusion and engineering requirements. Their versatility means that they can be used in modular or continuous situations for ceiling, sidewall, cill or bulkhead applications.
Waterloo’s Linear Slot Diffusers have set the industry standard for highest aerodynamic and acoustic performance. Their excellent low flow rate air diffusion characteristics and high air handling capacity makes them suitable for variable air volume applications. The diffuser features a novel air pattern control element design that allows any air diffusion to vertical projection, without any changes in the facial appearance.
The Vane Swirl Diffusers are suitable for areas that have high ceilings and where a rapid induction of supply air is required. The diffusers feature high air volume capacity, optional room adjustable vanes with an attractive lightweight design.
An extensive range of circular diffusers were also specified for their adjustable radial diffusion patterns, which provide excellent induction rates and a low sound power level, making it ideal for residential applications.
