Proud Sponsors of the ‘Integration and Collaborative Working’ award
Friday January 25, 2013
Constructing Excellence Awards are recognition of those who make an effort to change the sector, by using the organisations core principles. Finalists and winners will be associated with awards respected through out the construction industry. In 2012 the Integration and Collaborative Working award was presented to Jackson Civil Engineering, for working seamlessly with Aggregate Industries and Connect Plus on the Dartford West Tunnel Resurfacing Project.
What is Constructing Excellence?
Constructing Excellence is an organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction.
The organisation exists to improve industry performance in order to produce a better built environment.
As a cross-sector, cross supply chain, member led organisation, Constructing Excellence operates in the favour of the construction industry and it’s stakeholders. Part of the mission statement by Constructing Excellence declares the organisation, “Aims to deliver improved industry performance resulting in a demonstrably better built environment”.
One of Waterloo’s main strengths is the ability to manage projects of all sizes and complexity.
Whatever the contract, our collaborative approach and willingness to engage with you and your design team at the earliest opportunity allows us to add extra value and quality.
It is for this reason that Waterloo considers the Integration and Collaborative category important, and have chosen to sponsor it for the second year running.
Integration and Collaborative Category
Judges will be looking for evidence of early involvement, selection by value, common processes and tools across organisations, long term relationships, modern commercial arrangements and fair payment practices. Obvious benefits will include a less adversarial approach but judges will assess delivery against client performance measures and how workforce development has led to products or services and customer satisfaction. Successful entries will have succeeded in integrating their teams to such a level that they appear as a single entity to the customer. Joint submissions are strongly encouraged.
