Michael Frederick Palmer
It is with great sadness that Waterloo Air Products plc announce the death of our good friend and colleague Mick Palmer on 4th November 2013.
Mick joined Waterloo in 1979. Although originally trained as a civil engineer, it soon became clear that he had a special skill of engaging with clients and designers and understanding the nature of their concepts and broad visions.
Any sales focussed business like Waterloo needs a few inspired magicians to stand alongside those creating tomorrow’s cityscapes. They need to be part back-room-boffin and part military strategist with a dash of technical salesman. With his technical understanding, his endless patience and his easy ways when guiding and assisting the transformation of exceptional visions into stunning reality, Mick was exactly what we needed. He was superbly competent, opinionated, winning and fabulously professional.
We will all miss him as a friend, a colleague and a key member of the team.
He leaves his wife, Sarah, and two daughters.
