Integration and Collaborative Working Sponsors

After yet another successful year during 2013, Constructing Excellence in London and the South East are now open for applicants to enter for the 2014 Awards. The Awards are recognition of the companies, groups and projects who make an effort to change the sector by using Constructing Excellence’s core principles. As with previous years Waterloo Air Products plc are sponsoring the Integration and Collaborative Working award, as we believe it to be a fundamental aspect to the construction industry’s future.

What is Constructing Excellence?

Constructing Excellence is an organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction. The organisation exists to improve industry performance in order to produce a better built environment. As a cross-sector, cross supply-chain, member led organisation, Constructing Excellence operates in the favour of the construction industry and its stakeholders.

Waterloo’s Sponsorship

Waterloo has an enviable reputation for ventilation system design, engineering and manufacture. Built on levels of customer service that allow us to collaborate constructively as part of an integrated supply chain, we at Waterloo know that when we are involved in a project from the earliest opportunity, we can always deliver better value through design and joint cost saving.

It is for this reason that Waterloo considers the Integration and Collaborative Working category important, and have chosen to sponsor it for a third year running.

Integration and Collaborative Category

Judges will be looking for evidence of early involvement, selection by value, common processes and tools across organisations, long-term relationships, modern commercial arrangements and fair payment practices. Obvious benefits will include a less adversarial approach but judges will assess delivery against client performance measures and how workforce development has led to improved products or services and customer satisfaction.

Successful entries will have succeeded in integrating their terms to such a level that the appear as a single entity to the customer. Joint submissions are strongly encouraged.
